Detroit's Lindell AC film starring Alex Karras and Susan Clark.

The reallife story detailing the relationship between Jimmy Butsicaris (the popular Detroit owner of the legendary Lindell AC bar and grill) and youngster Andre Reynolds whom he attempts to adopt after discovering his horrible living conditions.

Never released commercially on VHS or DVD. Recorded on March 19, 1980 from the original CBS premiere. Second generation copy duplicated from a VHS lent by Jimmy's nephew Mel back in 2001. Finally converted to digital over 20 years later. Complete with commercials and a brief snippet at the end of the local news containing the film's afterparty at the Lindell.

"Jimmy B. & Andre" later became the inspiration for the popular ABC series "Webster" in 1983.
