After the owl incident during the evening, F23 finally got some sleep and she woke up in the morning to M15 flying in with grasses! He spreads the fluff & F23 makes soft vocals. She takes a break by flying to the church side snag while M15 looked at the egg his future legacy and he lovingly rolled it and began incubation.

M15 will get up to roll the egg again. He will see the uneaten fish from yesterday and he picks it up and flies off the nest to eat it. We have some nice closeups of egg 1 before F23 flew back to the nest and took over incubation. M15 will arrive with a stick and that trick worked and F23 got up and M15 got more egg time!

Later, F23 returns to the side rails and stands there while M15 was incubating. He did not want to get up ♥ Finally he does and F23 takes over the shift. She will roll the egg and shimmy down on it until the next shift change. They are working like a team once again with their incubation shifts and not venturing too far from the nest. Egg 1 (the future E24) is their legacy and they are committed to making sure it will hatch & grow up to be a mighty eagle! Thank you for watching!
