Fifteen week old E21 & E22 showed their confidence and fearlessness defending their nest and nest tree territory today as they flushed intruders from the area in tag team position. It was awesome to see. Some believe one of the adults who landed in the nest tree was M15, but I am not so sure of that. Both E's flew to the front drive snag when the male arrived and did not approach him as if it was Dad hopefully delivering food. The other intruder landing in the tree was not known positively and flew when the E's approached. Earlier the E's watched two intruder eagles flush out one another when they were perched in the office oak. M15 did deliver a fish before I went home and the E's kept the intruder who entered the nest with M from getting any of their fish. It was a great day to be so proud of our E's, and their Dad too who raised them successfully to this time in their lives. The E's are 15 weeks old this week. Harriet was last seen February 2nd. "I love you Mom" and miss you terribly.
