A bulldog was abandoned, left all alone on the streets.
Ignored and chased away by passersby, the poor dog found refuge in an abandoned house, desperate for safety.

We were about 20 minutes away, hoping and praying she would still be there when we arrived.

Starving with nothing to eat, she had been surviving by nibbling on leaves.
She could hardly believe someone had come to save her.

Her skin was covered in scales, rough and inflamed, showing signs of a severe condition.
Her overall state was heartbreaking.

When we found her, she was in such poor shape that her temperature was too low to register.

Yet, despite everything, her appetite remained strong.
Thankfully, her temperature began to rise to 36.5°C, and we started her on drips and antibiotics.

We named her Pumpkin.
Pumpkin, though fragile, had a fighter's spirit.


In that moment of pure joy, the bond between Kennedy
and the girls deepened, filling the day with love and laughter.
