Range: Australia
Habitat: forests, gardens, agricultural areas
Size: average about 1 foot (30.5cm) in length
Diet: seeds and fruit (the occasional invertebrate)
Threats: birds of prey and introduced foxes and cats, also each other
Lifespan: 20+ years
