I had to replace the mirror turning signal assembly on my 2007 R320 CDI and while there are a lot of references on the internet, I couldn't find one that was matching the mirror structure of the R Class. Yes, there are plenty of videos from ML, E or S Class etc from that era, but I had a bit of a struggle to figure out the mirror casing of the R Class. Enjoy :)
