Prestige M8: The Biggest u0026 Most Expensive Prestige EVER!

The Prestige M8 is the most ambitious boat to ever wear the Prestige badge. With an exterior of 130 square metres, an interior of 140 square metres and a beam just shy of 30ft it is also, by some margin, the biggest boat that the French brand has ever built.

In this indepth walkthrough tour, review and sea trial, Jack Haines gets to grips with this behemoth of a power catamaran, which according to Prestige has the interior volume of an 8090ft monohull.

On board, there is the option to have four or five cabins, the galley up or down and sleeping space for up to six crew members. The owner’s suite is simply spectacular and occupies the boat’s full beam with space for a study area, walkin wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with a separate shower and toilet cubicle and twin sinks.

The main saloon is vast and has a bar across the cockpit threshold which can easily serve those in the cockpit and saloon. An internal staircase winds up to the flybridge, which is equally spacious and comes with a hard top as standard.

In the engine room (s), there is a pair of Volvo Penta D8 600hp engines on Vdrive shafts, which deliver a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising range of 350nm at 15 knots. At 8 knots it will cover more like 1,400nm.
