Fun fact: At 11,239 feet tall, Mt. Hood is the highest mountain in Oregon and contains 11 glaciers. Its base covers 92 square miles. It's also a dormant volcano that last erupted in 1865. Scientists believe it could erupt again within the next 75 years.
