DCP Devesh Kumar Mahla briefed about the Ishana vehicle on December 10. He informed that Ishana vehicle has been enhanced for the security of Parliament sessions and upcoming Republic Day and festive seasons.
“Ishana vehicle has 10 to 12 cameras which have the capacity of 360degree CCTV. To ensure the security of Republic Day and Parliaments sessions, we have enhanced the capacity and uploaded the list of the wanted criminals in the cameras. Ishana vehicle’s cameras have FRS (Facial Recognition System) to identify any suspect. We have also uploaded stolen vehicles. If any stolen vehicles found in any event, then it is found in our surveillance cameras…We will see the efficiency to increase these types of vehicles,” said Devesh Kumar Mahla.
