After 3 years and four months of UV and wind exposure my original electric RV tongue jack cover finally bit the dust and I didn’t hesitate to replace it with the exact same one. This universal protective tongue jack cover from BougeRV is absolutely simple it’s made from a 600D waterproof fabric with dual drawstrings that cinch tight from both sides of the shaft underneath the jack motor. The first one did a great job at protecting my jack motor and didn’t leave any staining or marks yet successfully stopped the UV rays from breaking down the plastic on the tongue jack head. What I liked about this simple jack cover is that it doesn’t need to be removed to use the switches so I can raise and lower the tongue jack without removing the cover. It is a solid piece of fabric so the light on the tongue jack becomes unusable I personally never used that anyway so it was of no consequence to cover it if that’s a feature you use then this may not be the cover for you, but if you’re looking for a simple, durable, waterproof cover for your trailer tongue jack that withstood over two years of fulltime RV travel then this might just be the product you’re looking for.
