It’s time for an epic Audi vs Lamborghini showdown!

We’ve got Mat in his Audi R8 Spyder V10, and it’s facing off against a Lamborghini Huracan Evo! These cars are almost identical under the skin, but let’s see how they compare anyway.

Starting with the Audi, it’s powered by a 5.2litre naturallyaspirated V10 that can put down 620hp and 580Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7speed dualclutch automatic gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,695kg. As new, this car would set you back around £167,000.

Then we have the Lambo. It’s powered by the same 5.2litre V10 engine, but the power output has increased slightly, climbing to 640hp and 600Nm. It comes equipped with the same 7speed dualclutch gearbox, and the claimed dry weight is 1,422kg (so you can add around an extra 100kg for the proper weight). It’s a bit pricier than the Lambo, costing around £198,000.

So will the more powerful Lambo snatch it? Or will the Audi’s launch propel it to victory? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
