In this Woodworking video I show you how I cut perfect miters for projects like picture frames and boxes.

The most important step is to make sure your table saw is tuned up. First I make sure the miter fence is perpendicular to the saw blade and make a test cut. With the fence lined up I tilt the blade to 45 degrees and make yet another test cut to confirm.
With the saw good to go I cut 4 pieces to 6 1/2" using a stop block on my miter gauge. Next I cut the miters on both ends and then glue the box up by putting glue on all miters.
