We have always wanted to go after the bigger Alaska crab species so we purchased the trap at end of last season and I pieced together a bunch of sections of rope we brought with us from Ketchikan layed it out and measured it to make sure we had ruffly 600.ft as recommended by the Alaska Fish and Game video linked here
