The Department of Justice has sued the owner and manager of the cargo ship that caused the Baltimore Bridge collapse and killed six workers.

The lawsuit claims the Francis Scott Key Bridge tragedy was entirely avoidable — and is seeking more than $100 million that the federal government spent to clear underwater debris and reopen the port of Baltimore.
