For a property that's seen its fair share of disagreements, it's incredible to see how Massive Entertainment has leveraged Avatar to create a compelling openworld adventure.
Almost everything, from the exploration to the side activities, is captured well, offering a unique perspective and take on the genre. Though the combat may bear more than a passing resemblance to Far Cry, movement feels good.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora does have some issues with its gear system, gathering mechanics and side quests, but it's still a fun experience.
