In this exciting adventure, we travel to Northern Maryland to explore the grounds of an incredible 1740's log cabin with rich local history. This cabin was once the town's general store in the late 1700s so there was countless foot traffic coming and going, along with generations of families living inside! One of its most recent residents lived all of her 90 plus years in this very cabin, seeing it evolve with indoor plumbing, electricity, and other modern amenities! Now, the current owner is restoring it to its original state and has already uncovered over 8,000 artifacts during his excavations. From colonial silverware to old coins, marbles, buttons, and pottery—this place is a treasure trove of history!

We'll be teaming up with him to metal detect the land surrounding the cabin, hoping to add even more valuable pieces to his impressive collection. The ultimate goal? To help him open a museum showcasing the vast history of this incredible site. Join us as we dive into the past and try to uncover more relics of early American life!
