モチはドワーフキャットゆえに重度の便秘症
さまざまな薬を処方してもらいましたがどれもモチには合わず...薬飲んでも1週間出ないのはざらでした。
餌もロイヤルカナンの(ファイバー) 消化器サポート 可溶性繊維 をあげていますが、1週間出ないとやっぱりそれなりに硬くなってきます。
それで獣医さんと相談の上で浣腸を45日に一度行っています。
今回はその様子とやり方をご紹介いたします。

〈用意するもの〉
子ども用の浣腸液
オリーブオイル少量
綿棒
ペットシーツ
です。

〈やり方〉
1 肛門にオリーブオイルを綿棒で塗る
2 浣腸の先にオリーブオイルを綿棒で塗って入りを良くする
3 浣腸を入れる
この時に無理に入れると腸を傷つける恐れがありますので、無理には入れず自然にスルッと入るまで、気持ちトントンとしながら待つ。
4 浣腸がしっかり入ったら、ゆっくりゆっくり本当にゆっくり液を入れる
急いで早く入れると腸がねじれてしまう恐れがありますので、とにかくゆっくりです。
5 最後まで入れ終わったら浣腸をすぐに外さずそのまま指で抜けないように抑えながら23分待つ。
猫はトイレに行きたくてちょー暴れるとしても、押さえつけて待たせます。
これが待てるか待てないかでだいぶ便の出が違います。
6 23分経ったら、浣腸を外してトイレへ

モチはこれでも出ない時さえありました。
そーゆー時はちょっと強めにお腹をマッサージしたり。最悪摘便でした。
チラーヂンを飲んでからは体温が上がって腸がちょっと動き出したので、一度の浣腸でスッキリ出やすくなっています。
