EMPATHY is one of the most important, if not THE MOST important, tools in a dog trainer's repertoire. Last week I had the sincere honor of hosting a dog training seminar in London, England where I met several dog owners, fans, and aspiring trainers. There I underwent the task of providing training and advice for an extremely complex reactive dog named Laura and sought to salvage her and her adoring owner's relationship.
