The 2015 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards was an inaugural competition in partnership with the Born Free Foundation, an international wildlife charity working throughout the world to stop individual wild animal suffering and protect threatened species in the wild.

The competition aimed to find and feature technically excellent photographs of wildlife doing amusing things, or looking funny, alongside humorous expressions. The images must be of wildlife in wild areas.

According to a press release, a total of 1,502 entries were submitted from 52 countries.
