In this episode:
The unknown face of Spain: snow, rain, clouds, and cold blanket the land. Ibex migrate to the valleys, while wolves patrol the mountains as vultures circle overhead. Though the landscape may seem bleak, barren, and unexpected for a destination known for beaches and palm trees, the Iberian winter is wonderful.

The landscape of the Iberian Peninsula ranges from junglelike forests to the driest deserts. In the north loom the snowcapped mountains of the Pyrenees, and in the south flow the prairies. Filmed with super highspeed cameras and timelapse photography, from the Iberian lynx to the Royal eagle; the ant lion to the dragonfly – this is Spain, wild and alive.
