This was a fantastic trip to camp and rockhound one of the most beautiful spots I've ever camped before! The target for this trip was Michigan's state stone, the Petoskey stone. I especially wanted to find some good pieces for polishing as I learn more about working with stones/lapidary. We had a great time here exploring and combing the beaches and exploring all the trails near the lake.
