Vanlife in Tasmania is full of surprises, and this week was no exception! What started as a peaceful parkup quickly turned into a vanlife nightmare. Strong winds and wild weather threatened to rip our skylight off, forcing us to move our van to safety. We thought the worst was over, but it wasn’t!
While exploring the iconic Nut in Stanley, we found ourselves trapped in a freezing rainstorm at the top. The chairlift was shut down due to dangerous conditions, leaving us to wait out the storm in the biting cold.
From bad parkups to battling Tasmania’s wild weather, this adventure tested us like never before. Watch as we navigate the challenges and find the silver lining in a day that went from bad to worse.
