In my opinion, in a video Jackson Galaxy did a while back    • Talking Buttons for Cats: i can haz l...   he said that cats who use the recordable buttons are not really communicating but just using a press and reward system. I have already done a response video to this but I continue to get comments frequently along the same lines, many referring to Mr. Galaxy’s video. Todd has done so much more since my response video I feel it’s time for another.

I will admit I am biased about Todd and his abilities so I will present a multipart series showing what I feel is critical thinking and communication beyond just a push and reward system.

Todd is a 6yearold neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. We aim to let Todd express himself and tell me his wants and needs. Currently, Todd has 51 words on his soundboard. This channel is dedicated to Todd learning to “talk”.
