Even though the kitten survived, he has a hard time getting milk from the foster mother cat because of the large number of kittens. In order for him to gain weight, we have to either feed him ourselves or take the kittens away from the mother cat so he can find some milk for himself.

The mother cat's kittens are named John, Teddy, Lulu. Felix and Susie.
The foster kitten was named Michael after a very special person to our friend Meredith.
