The BMW Group Recycling and Dismantling Center (RDC) is a crucial component of the company’s sustainability efforts. Although it might not be widely recognized, it’s where BMW’s environmental commitment is most clearly demonstrated. By recovering and reusing parts from endoflife vehicles, BMW ensures that up to 30% of the materials in their new cars are recycled. Annually, the center processes up to 10,000 vehicles, recycling up to 95% of each car. This dedication to sustainability is a core principle of BMW’s operations, and it’s a practice that won’t be changing any time soon.
