Except for Ceausescu and his closest entourage, no one had ever had access to these images before the Romanian revolution. They reveal the daily life of the dictator, the way he presented himself and the “petit bourgeois” luxury of his private life at a time when his people were dying of hunger.
A unique document as well as a striking testimony on the Ceaucescu regime and the underbelly of a dictatorship.
