After the collapse of the Soviet Union Soviet army had to leave countries they occupied during WWII. The pull in Lithuania started in 1992 March 3rd.
The 446 anti aircraft missile squad HQ armed with S300 anti aircraft missile systems was the first army unit to leave.

In Lithuania of Soviet Army had: 34,6 thousand troops, 1000 tanks, 180 aircraft, 1901 armed personnel carriers.

The pull ended in 1992 August 31st.
