Four months ago, while feeding stray cats, I came across a truly heartbreaking scene. A mother cat, who had just given birth, had been abandoned with her kittens in a cardboard box under the scorching sun in an unfamiliar place.

Under such conditions, the mother cat’s struggle to keep her kittens alive would most likely have ended in failure. This area was home to hundreds of dominant and territorial cats that would never leave the mother cat in peace. There was only one thing I could do. God had placed this feline family in my path and had chosen me to be the one to help them.
