Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee is the final resting place of many historic servicemen. Set on the hill where Ulysses S. Grant commanded the Battle of Chattanooga during the Civil War, this cemetery not only serves as the final resting place of Desmond Doss (made popular in the movie "Hacksaw Ridge") but also is the place where you can find members of Andrews Raiders who went on to be the very first recipients of the Medal of Honor. Tons of interesting history here!
