Itgirl Goldie Hawn has proven herself to be more than just the giggly blonde from ROWAN & MARTIN'S LAUGHIN (19681973). After the show made her a household name, Goldie went on to win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in CACTUS FLOWER (1969). She's appeared in many comedy classics since, including PRIVATE BENJAMIN (1980), which earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress and DEATH BECOMES HER (1992) alongside Meryl Streep. This 1978 variety show, THE GOLDIE HAWN SPECIAL, showcases her singing, dancing and of course, comedy sketches with guests John Ritter, Shaun Cassidy, George Burns and the Harlem Globetrotters.
