A Welsh veteran who built himself the most beautiful castle out of dry stone. A truly stunning feature that sits perfectly on a Welsh mountain. I went down to wales to hang out with him for a few days, and to learn about what inspired him to create this.

He also told me about the increibly sad news that the council want it removed, and are doing everything they can to make sure the not only the castle is gone from the land but also the 100's of tons of stone that Mikey has carried there.

Mikey also took me deep into the Welsh countryside to show me some more incredible cabins and shelters he had built.

I came away increcibly inspired from my time in Wales, and with a longing to get back into nature and build naturally with the land.
