Put this together as I will be searching for a sharpshinned hawk this year to hunt with. I am a generalclass falconer in the state of Utah and have hunted with Kestrels and RedTailed Hawks previously.
I hope to find a sharpshinned hawk (or sharpie) nest somewhere nearby my home. Once I locate one I will monitor the nest and once the babies have fledged and are outside the nest I will attempt to trap one. I can't wait!
I highly recommend Ben Woodruff's videos on choosing an accipiter and locating a SharpShinned Hawk nest
