This dog was purchased by his owner 6 years ago. He has lived here for the sixth years. During the rainy season the land is a swamp. In summer it is as hot as desert sand.
The owner chained him to a tree for sixth years. The chain was too short and prevents him from moving and even eating. He was denied even the slightest glimpse of freedom in the hands of those who didn't care about his pain. He had never known a kind touch, a gentle word, or the warmth of a loving home.
Under these difficult circumstances and over the years, his health deteriorated. He became seriously ill, and lost his sight.
As if all this suffering wasn't enough; three years later the owner moved away and left him chained in the same place. His suffering became worst, getting food became more difficult. His daily meal was leftover food thrown to him by passersby.
