Today we are working on evening chores which include moving chickens, gathering eggs, milking the cow, preparing supper, and training our piglets to hot wire. Tonight we are having fried tenderloin with gravy, green beans, corn on the cob, and my famous square biscuits!
Biscuit Recipe
2 cups AP flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
Combine dry ingredients
Add 5 Tbsp butter, cut into flour mixture
Add 1 cup(ish) of milk, slowly combine until you have a workable dough.
Flatten onto a preheated greased pan, cook at 425 degrees for 1015 minutes or until golden brown. Butter the tops, cut out biscuits and enjoy!
