The streakeared bulbul is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is found from Thailand and northern and central Malay Peninsula to southern Indochina. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. The streakeared bulbul was originally described in the genus Criniger.
This couple bulbul make their nest on water jasmine tree in front of the house. Today the chicks are 3 days old. Parents fly together to look for food and feed them in the nest. When the mother feeds the food, mother bird also pecks the walking ants that coming to bite her chicks. At the same time, the father bird feeds too large pieces of food for babies.
