In this video we discuss finding out our baby has Spina Bifida, what is Spina Bifida, Myeloneingocele, Hydrocephalus, what is a Chiari II Malformation, fetal surgery for Spina Bifida, bilateral clubbed feet, needing a shunt, and other challenges from the baby birth defect, Spina Bifida.

This is our birth story about finding out our son has a birth defect called Spina Bifida. Isaiah is 2 years old now, and despite being diagnosed with Spina Bifida Myelomeningocele, Hydrocephalus, Bilateral Clubbed Feet, and a Chiari II Malformation, he has proven the doctors wrong time and time again! I know this is a heavy topic, but we think Spina Bifida Awareness is so important!

We share our perspective as parents of a child with special needs who is defying the odds. We hope to be an encouragement for other families who may have gotten a tough diagnosis, and to show that Spina Bifida is not as terrifying as it was the day we found out about it.
