We have been using our solar system full time now for 5 months and we thought we would give an update on how it's doing. We also are needing to change the array angle to its winter position. The winter position will capture more sun as well as shed snow quickly. Our Off Grid Solar system consists of 30 385 watt bifacial solar panels made by Canadian Solar with an array total of 11,500 watts. The 30 panels are divided into three sets of series parallel strings (two sets of 5 panels in series per string) The array powers our twin mpp solar all in one inverters. The inverters power the homestead as well as charge our 8 48 volt EG4 Lifepower server rack batteries from Signature solar. We also have the ability to charge our batteries with our generator and EG4 Chargeverter also available at Signature Solar.
