I started my first sketchbook in March 2024 with the aim of being able to visibly log my artistic tests and progress throughout the year instead of having a random pile of differently sized papers that would inevitably get thrown out one day. This turned into a habit and has helped me advance with watercolors and test other watersoluble media that I've been interested in.

From material explorations to getting more diligent with my practice to really embracing the act of painting outside in nice weather, I think that despite the fact my work was hit or miss, I developed a lot of new skills!

I'll take you through each page, describe the materials and processes I used where possible and chat through the challenges I had.
