When she died at the age of just 10, Sara Sharif had 71 external injuries, including bruises, burns and human bite marks.

Before fleeing to Pakistan, her father Urfan Sharif left a handwritten confession saying he'd "lost it" and killed her.

During the trial he lied for six days, before finally accepting full responsibility for her death.

Her stepmother Beinash Batool refused to give evidence. Both were found guilty of murder today, with her uncle, Faisal Malik convicted of causing or allowing her death.
