This was the final leg of a 12,000mile Pacific trip (2024), and my first significant solo passage (from Honolulu to San Francisco). The boat flooded, I had to rewire the propane solenoid to keep access to hot coffee, the spinnaker blew outa normal amount of passage drama. It was a wonderful experience. The boat is a 46foot custom Bob Perry design in aluminum. The flooding starts at 36:43 |
