Ruffed Grouse Drumming
While taking this video of a Ruffed Grouse, I somehow managed to catch the bird exhibiting its species’ peculiar territorial drumming display—frantically beating its wings to produce a low, soft booming sound. (Unfortunately, my camera’s microphone did not pick up the lowregister sound—grr.)
