The Boom Boom Room STL

Had to replace my recordings for your desk when I move to a new house. And this is the one I chose. And I chose it over thousands of dollars versions because I liked it more. I don’t get paid to make these reviews. I’m not trying to build my channel. If you like it that’s great if you don’t that’s OK too but I’m just trying to get the information out case people would be interested in finding out .
Description: Alright, I'm going to give a review because I didn't see a good one on this stuff. I was really skeptical of course buying from Amazon, and you see these things and they're like thousands of dollars, and I bought them. Back in my day in like the 90s and the 2000s built recording studios, big ones, and these things were just really expensive, so I think it's really cool that someone has refined a lot of options for music compositions, set things. So this is it, and I'll just kind of go through it. It's got this like wood again; it's like a fake plastic wood but it feels real, real cleanable, I'm going to say that. Love these little headphone racks on the back. It probably took me an hour to actually build it. I just love how it's got a rack here, a rack there, a rack there, a rack there. I really like how it's got little holes there. It's got this little metal part, which of course strengthens it, so these are holes for wire management, you put these little rubber things in there and you put wires in. I haven't done it but I plan to put all the electrical. See these things right here? I plan to put that stuff on the back; one will be always on, one will be switched, you know, so you can turn certain things off at certain things that need to stay on. Okay, so that's the back. It wasn't that it was hard, and it's like a medium quality difficulty. They give you a bunch of rack screws at the end. You're like put all the rack screws in. No, you don't put the rack screws in, by the way, you just leave them out until you need them. You put them in like a cup, but this is nice how this pulls out and still has a place to put the wires there, and I guess anything on the bottom would go up that way too. And then this is this bottom piano part. If I had to think if something would be weak, this would be definitely the flimsiest part, but at the same time, I love it; the distance between here and here is not how big your keyboard needs to be; it's actually the distance between here and there. So I do have this 88key weighted keyboard, and I might just pull it out and stick it on there. I used to use this little desktop one; it'll be nice not to have to screw it in. Also, really appreciate that this thing rolls; it's on carpet, so it's kind of hard, but the wheels are real small. I have this chair here that'll actually lift, and I need... like somebody else reviewed this, I thought I'm going to have to figure out how to get around this, so a normal chair is going to come right there, and your knees will never get under that. So that's kind of the problem, and I'll show you what that looks like with hopefully without it looking too awkward. How you doing, all right? So as I look at my knees, if I lift them up, I'm six feet tall, and I would really need to drop those down to really get this out. So the first upgrade for them would be to just make this all one inch taller. Okay, because finding, because I'm also in the bar industry, and there are certain standards for chairs, bar stools, counter height, bar height, and a rail for steps, and this is designed so it's not like you're going to go to Asia and find smaller chairs; they're just standards. Okay, and this is below the standards. So the first thing I'm going to probably do is find a way to get much bigger wheels. It's going to be expensive because they're like, I don't know, like 20 bucks a piece or something, and you'll need eight to jack that up; the other way to do that would be to maybe throw some two by fours, but then it'll be getting really clunky, so I'm probably just going to kind of apply myself under there for now. Anyway, the only other thing that's a negative, and there's not, I mean overall I would, I would buy this; I'd buy it again, and I'm happy. I'm just... I always like to come up with ideas for manufacturers of upgraded ideas, and this is the major one, but there's a lot of good. If this thing's going to break, it's going to break here. It's designed is through there, but it's definitely the weakest part in what is a good solid, what feels like a good solid desk, especially when you get the rack gear in there; that'll help hold things together. But I love the idea of being able to wire my stuff, move it, and move it around. I mean, everything... the computers, all rack gear, and just have it plugged in and
