Happy rescueversary to Sandro, Mafalda, Messi and Gustavo

These majestic Bengal Tigers , known as the Argentina train tigers, celebrate two years of tranquil living at LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary.
These tigers spent numerous years living in a train carriage located in San Luis, a region in the heart of Argentina.

Sandro (born 2004) & Mafalda (born 2007) were living there for 15 years with their 10yearold sons, born in the carriage in 2011, Messi & Gustavo. Abandoned by a circus and looked after by the landowner, they spent their lives in this carriage until they were rescued and transferred to LIONSROCK in March 2022.

Here’s to many more years of carefree living!
