Author Douglas Murray has slammed Mark Cuban after the billionaire claimed Donald Trump never surrounds himself with “strong, intelligent women”.

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. Ever. It’s just that simple. They're intimidating to him. He doesn't like to be challenged by them,” Mr Cuban said.

Mr Murray pointed out people would not consider Tulsi Gabbard, who spoke with Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden, as unintelligent or not strong.

“It's a really low way of doing things and a sort of desperation,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
