This very rare and collectible tiny generator was the first effort for Honda in 1964. Weighing only 17 pounds, this four stroke generator set was designed to power the equally tiny Sony solid state TV or a 40 watt light bulb. These were given to a select group of Honda motorcycle dealers in 1964 as a reward for sales performance and were never sold to the public.
A subscriber James had this rare Honda e40 generator in his shed. It was in none running condition when it was given to his late father by a friend. Over twenty years ago, his Dad passed it on to James. Will this 1964 Honda e40 Generator run again?

I no longer use Harbor Freight Super Heavy Duty Degreaser in my ultrasonic cleaner. Harbor Freight changed the recipe. The bottle previously stated "NONCORROSIVE". Now it says "CORROSIVE", "do not user on Aluminum". It now damages most carburetors. Recently I have been using Simple Green PRO HD with good results.
