Range: western North America
Habitat: grasslands and some shrublands
Size: 90 to 140 pounds (40 to 64 kg), 36 to 40 inches (90 to 102 cm) at the shoulder on average
Diet: sagebrush, rabbitbrush, succulents, lichen, rarely grasses
Threats: bobcats, wolves, coyotes, wolves, bears, eagles, etc.
Lifespan: 710 years on average
