And just like that, we crossed the border out of California and gas went down a whole dollar a gallon! It is like magic!

A couple pieces of advice for you guys:

• If possible, travel down the 101 on the Washington and Oregon coast from South to North. We have done it both ways and heading North makes it so much easier and safer to utitlize all of the pulloffs on the road to really take in the beauty around you!
• Give yourself TIME! There is so much to see all the way along the entire West Coast, so give yourself enough time in your travel days to stop and explore the many sea caves, beaches, lighthouses and sea stacks along the way!
• Find a good campground that is close to many different attractions in an area along the coast a a launching point!

We stayed in Newport, Oregon, which gave us a good location to see lots around us. Unfortuately, the weather in the late Spring wasn’t great, so we ended up bringing the rig with us to our next destination Devil’s Punch Bowl.

You can check out that video here:    • WHALES & RAINBOWS | OREGON COAST LIGH...   On this visit, we couldn’t believe how much the area had changed, and we got a bit more wet than last time trying to get into the cave! Drones are no longer allowed here, FYI!

We are so glad we decided to stop, because even though we had been there before, so much had changed. It was like a whole new experience. We always say it “JUST STOP”, but it even applies if you have already been there before. It will bring you a new experience and new memories, and that is always worth it!
