This is the story of how P47 Thunderbolt pilot Ed Cottrell was reunited with Jergen Tegethoff, a King Tiger Tank commander from the German army during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. Ed was a member of the 48th Fighter Group of the 9th Air Force, and Jergen was a member of the 506th Heavy Panzer Battalion.
