Yesterday evening, both of our Love Birds were seen perched in the Stick Depot Snag tree before they flew to their nest for some nestkeeping. Shadow flew off first while Jackie picked out a new stick to bring home. Her second for the day!❤

I think Shadow was a little testy as they might have had a slight disagreement on who would move a particular twig, because he gave Jackie a couple beakies to get his point across. Must've been wearing his bossy pants yesterday...

When he went to leave through the back door, he ended up getting his talons stuck on the loose sticks again. Somebirdy really needs to straighten that up! I'm surprised Fiona, the nest inspector hasn't written them up for that yet....

Thank you Friends of Big Bear Valley for giving us 2 separate camera views to enjoy them on and off nest! And of course the amazing camera operators for an amazing job following them on Cam 2.
