The alternator on the Pig has only been making just over 13 volts since the Ls swap just over a year ago. The alternator that came on the 08" Ly6 is regulated by the pcm. So because I run my engine with a Holley Terminator X, the alternator defaults to 13.8 volts. In actuality, I was only getting low 13"s out of it. So time to put a four pin alternator from an 05" or older Ls and get the full charging power!
